ECITB advertise their apprentice scheme every year in the engineering industry. It is a highly popular initiative which gives young people a great opportunity in engineering, one
of the most important industries in the UK.
ECITB wanted an easy way for young people to be able to get quick information regarding he scheme and how to apply. Previous years they used a telephone number which would need a dedicated staff member.
Wirebox setup a FREETEXT number (80800) which users could text in and get information back on the scheme and how to apply. It saves users remembering long web addresses or telephone numbers and the information to apply in an SMS message.
Wirebox developed a backend CMS system where users could check the status of their SMS campaigns and make changes if required.
